Court Ruling Puts Brakes on Red Light Cameras in Florida

New court ruling prohibits enforcement of Red Light Camera fines in Florida.

Thank goodness that someone in our justice system has seen the light!  The whole red light camera system, as it operates now, clearly violates individual rights to due process, among others.

The judge in this ruling clearly states that only the government can issue tickets for red light violations and not a hired or contracted vendor.

Florida ticket attorney Ted Hollander lead the fight and emerged victorious!  And for this we say Thank you Mr. Hollander!

State Rep. Proposes Legislation To Reduce Profit Component Of Red Light Cameras In Florida

State Rep. Frank ArtilesState representative Frank Artiles, District 118, is proposing legislation that would remove the financial gain component of this scam for city and county governments in Florida.

“We are not removing the cameras that are already there,” Artiles said of his proposal. “If red-light cameras are a safety issue, what we’re doing is basically saying the local governments shouldn’t be profitting from them.”
